Are you up to date on your breast cancer screening? Join us for our monthly Mammogram Event and get back on schedule! Presented by Neighborhood HealthSource in partnership with Minnesota Department of Health Sage Screening programs and Park Nicollet, these events offer low-cost or free mammograms to patients who need them. We provide food and beverages, breast health education, and a listening ear so you can ask questions or share concerns.
Who should get a mammogram?
Starting at age 40, people with breasts should get a mammogram every year. If you are under 40 and have a family history of breast cancer, talk to your doctor about when you should start getting mammograms.
How much does a mammogram cost?
Your health insurance should cover annual mammograms, and we accept most insurance plans. If you don’t have insurance, don’t worry—MDH Sage covers costs for eligible patients. The Sage program provides free office visits for breast and cervical exams, mammograms and Pap smears. If a screening test shows a concern, Sage covers many diagnostic services and can often cover treatment if you need it.
To register for this event, please call Angelina at 612-287-2475.
Mammogram events are made possible by a generous grant from Susan G. Komen Minnesota.
