September Mammogram Event
Are you up to date on your breast cancer screening? Join us for our monthly Mammogram Event and get back on schedule! Presented by Neighborhood HealthSource in partnership with Minnesota Department of Health Sage Screening programs and Park Nicollet, these events offer low-cost or free mammograms to women who need them. We provide mammograms, breast health education, and a listening ear so you can ask questions or share concerns.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak in our communities, mammogram events will look slightly different than they have in the past. We’ve made changes to ensure these events are safe while remaining accessible to those in need, including social distancing measures, enhanced cleaning procedures, and a requirement that patients mask up while in the clinic/mobile mammography unit.
Who should get a mammogram?
Starting at age 40, women should get a mammogram every year. If you are under 40 and have a family history of breast cancer, talk to your doctor about when you should start getting mammograms.
How much does a mammogram cost?
Your health insurance should cover annual mammograms, and we accept most insurance plans. If you don’t have insurance, don’t worry—MDH Sage covers costs for eligible women. The Sage program provides free office visits for breast and cervical exams, mammograms and Pap smears. If a screening test shows a concern, Sage covers many diagnostic services and can often cover treatment if you need it.

Mammogram events are made possible by a generous grant from Susan G. Komen Minnesota.
