Each year at our Caring for our Communities Breakfast Jubilee we present two Builder Awards to individuals and organizations that had a substantial impact on our mission and have improved or increased access to health care for our patients and communities.

2016 Individual - Dr. Bruce Adams
Dr. Adams embodies our mission to improve
and promote access to healthcare.Serving
multiple board terms, then on the Clinical
Quality Improvement Committee, he guided
quality goals, clinician credentialing standards
and clinical treatmentprotocols. Dr. Adams
has true passion for community health. As an
ER doctor, then Vice President of Medical
Affairs, at North Memorial, he was instrumental
in establishing our relationship there.
2016 Organization - MDH Sage
The MN Dept. of Health Sage Cancer Screening
Program, led by GayLynn Richards and Mike
Finke, covers breast and cervical cancer
screening, diagnostics and treatment for
uninsured or underinsured women who
otherwise could not afford it. Sage has been a
trusted partner since 1992. Together we have
provided mammograms to 3,384 women, sent
900 for diagnostics, and diagnosed 32 with
2014 Organization - Northeast Bank
We recognized Northeast Bank’s support of the Neighborhood HealthSource mission,
which can be traced back to 1999, through annual donations and employee
volunteerism. The Bank is proud to be one of the original annual Jubilee supporters.
Northeast Bank has selected Neighborhood HealthSource as the United Way Caring
Connection Recipient, and bank employees also donated 88 new books for the Jump at
Reading! program to put books into the hands of young children when they come in for
annual well child check-ups.
